RIVER CITY FIT EXPO ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL EVENT IN DOWNTOWN EVANSVILLE

Evansville, Indiana – November 30, 2025 – The River City Fit Expo, presented by Active Nutrition, Optimize U, and The Baker Group, is thrilled to announce its 1st Annual event, set to take place in the heart of Downtown Evansville, Indiana.

Founded by Trevor Baker, a longtime leader in the fitness industry and Co-organizer of the highly successful NPC Indiana Muscle and Expo, the River City Fit Expo represents the next evolution of Midwest fitness competitions and celebrations.

“After many years of building events with NPC Indiana Muscle, I’m incredibly excited to launch something completely new and even bigger for our community,” said Trevor Baker, Co-Founder of the River City Fit Expo. “Evansville is the perfect location. Centrally positioned between four major metro areas – Nashville, Louisville, Indianapolis, and St. Louis – we’re within easy driving distance for athletes and fans across the region. This is going to be a destination event unlike anything the Midwest has seen.”

Joining Baker as Co-Founder is Derek Shelton, a respected figure in the fitness and competition world.

“I couldn’t be more excited to partner with Trevor on the River City Fit Expo,” said Derek Shelton, Co-Founder of the River City Fit Expo. “We’ve both been in the trenches of this industry for years, and now we get to build something completely our own – an event that’s bigger, louder, and more inclusive than anything we’ve done before.
